REM will generate a proposal after discussing the client's project and requirements. The entire project will be broken into stages, with fees payable after the successful completion of each stage. Thus, you do not pay for stages that involve ES cell injections or for breeding of the modified allele through the germline if the gene was not correctly targeted in the earlier stage. The principals of REM have transmitted successfully more than 50 different genetically modified alleles through the germline in mice, and REM does promise to do all that it can to ensure the client's success, including repeating of any service step for free if REM deems that the service was not performed optimally.
